PORTUGAL

I got back from an amazing weekend trip to Portugal so normal posting should resume shortly! I have just a couple of days left of being home before moving back for my second year of university so I'm definitely going to make the most of it.

  2. I have a more personal question, I hope it's okay :)
How often do you see your boyfriend during the school year? Is it hard for both of you to see each other so rarely? What's your secret to keep your relationship alive? :)

    1. I don't usually like answering too much of a personal question but I can understand your curiosity. I often wonder about other people's as well, haha :p and you asked so nicely :) It really depends on when I have time and how much the air fare is but while I was at uni I saw him 4 times. It definitely is hard because we used to spend at least a few days together during the week for 3/ almost 4 years before me heading off and we have had rough patches but I think it's all about adjusting to the situation, making do with what you have and not dwelling on too much about what you don't. Of course I don't always follow that I do often get a bit sad about how we don't spend that much time together but then I try to remind myself that I will see him soon! Also, skype and whatsapp does help a lot and we try to have skype dates set but we don't really set a schedule. I think if we were to do that it would begin to feel like a bit of a chore so we kinda just leave it and say "oh hey, skype date tomorrow night?" and just see if the other has time :) xx

    1. Thank you :D uuum, well it increased this past year with me being at uni and the special trip to china/japan. I flew home 4 times, once to brussels and prague, took the eurostar twice to paris (they were pretty cheap deals!) and then in the summer my family drove up to scotland and we later went to japan. I know it seems like a lot and I hope I don't sound like I'm bragging. I really like to travel to different places and I find a sort of "peace of mind" in the actual travelling part. Travelling/holidays is something I'd happily splurge on :) (not staying in a 5star but spending money to go to different places if ya knooow what i mean?) :) xx
