BABY I'LL TAKE YOU THERE

It is getting to that time of year when life gets pretty hectic i.e. it is exam time. I have so many things which I have to do and blogging sometimes ends up being the side dish to my main course. Either way, I wanted to show you guys a dress which I bought recently in H&M. It is coming off quite yellow in these photos but it is actually a lot more green in real life. This has to be the largest neon item I own besides that bright bright bright coral blazer. They only seem to have pink and black online but if you want to go check that out click here or check out my instagram for a cheeky in-store snap.

PS, don't forget to "click to read more" at the end of the post to see more photos xoxo

OUR GALAXY IS ONLY ONE OF MILLIONS

To fully embrace the fabulous weather that we have been getting, I decided to go for a dress and yet again bare my legs to the world! It was slightly breezy so I wore some cotton shorts underneath just in case I had a bit of a impromptu Monroe moment. This Topshop skater dress fits amazingly but it is also very simple so I decided to throw on my galaxy print blazer from Missbehaver. As I was bare legged, I went for my nude heeled boots from Primark which have silver studs on them. The outfit itself is quite "classy" so I decided to complete the look with a casual looking backpack from Urban Outfitters which yes was TEN POUNDS. I shall definitely be using more of this now that exams are rolling up around the corner.

PS, credits to B for the photos

ZARA'S PAISLEY

I finally decided to go bare legged for the first time this year. I was heading into town with the girls and so I went for a pretty casual outfit which consisted of a white top, high-waist shorts and cream converse (although they look really white here!). As it was all so incredibly casual, I decided to finish it off with my blazer from Zara which I absolutely love. I also decided to whack out this beige bag with a rose gold lock, also from Zara. I remember when I used to see this bag everywhere on blogs! I am so glad I found mine in the sale hehe.

SUN WITH NEON

Hey guys! I am absolutely drowning in work (particularly my essay which is due tomorrow) so forgive me if I am very brief. I went on H&M rampage and I this top and these black trousers are among the things I bought. The top is a very light-weight short sleeved knit and it is (of course) neon! My strappy heels add a touch of femininity to this slightly "badass" outfit. To brighten up this look I probably would have gone for a white blazer and maybe - just maybe - some white trousers or shorts. I really am starting to fall deep for this white trend.

NEW BEAUTY GOODIES

Lots of rest and and the over-consumption of vitamin C has seemed to have kicked my horrible cold/flu monster in the butt - I am still feeling a little under the weather but so much better than a few days ago. Now I am just slightly worried about my assignment which is due on Tuesday! Before leaving Luxembourg I checked out the skincare section in one of the shopping centres close to home (although everything is close to everything else in Lux!) and I bought these three things. A new Bioderma make up remover, Avène day cream for redness (I have been getting red blotchiness on my cheeks recently) and a new Essie nail polish in Really Red - I was looking for a really red nail colour so I thought it would make sense to buy one which had the same name haha. This is the first time I have used something by Avène and so far I am quite pleased with it. The cream itself does not feel to heavy or sticky; and along with its SPF 20 it will be perfect for the hotter days. As for wether it successfully tackless redness I will have to wait and see over the next week or so.

ATMOSPHERE

If you follow me on instagram you would have seen me post this blazer/bralet combo which I found in H&M. I have a cream blazer from H&M but nothing beats the crispness of this one I am wearing here. Over the past year I feel like myself style has change quite a bit since starting out this blog. I feel a little more grown up; a little more mature. At least I like to think I am!

PS, exam time is just around the corner - good luck to all of you!

NEON CRAZY

Even though I have been pretty ill I muscled it together to go into town and have breakfast with my parents. I do not go to Coffee Lounge much in the mornings but damn are their scrambled eggs good! I also had a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice to get my body pumping with lots of vitamin C haha. It was pretty gloomy when when I woke up so I decided to brighten up my own day with my neon beanie and coral blazer. I kept the rest of the outfit pretty simple with b&w and hints of silver. I unfortunately leave Luxembourg tomorrow - I am so sad and where has this month gone!!! Exams (and my birthday) are soon!
