IT'S IN THE STARS

My time in England is nearing to an end - although I will be back for occasional weekend visits and my final year of uni. Today I went into town to have lunch a good friend and we inevitably did some crazy home stuff browsing until the mad rainstorm decided to pour down as we were casually making our way back to the car to drop off some things so we could, of course, do more browsing. For my fabulous day out in town I decided to wear my new neon Topshop strappy top which I bought the other day when the Manfriend and I went on a bit of shopping rampage. I also found these shoes in the sale for 18 GBP which I was over the moon about because I wanted to buy them a week or so ago but decided to wait it out for some reason. I am so glad I did because considering the original price was around 32 GBP it feels like such a win! I also found a cute little suede bag in the sale which will without a doubt be seen here in no time so keep your eyes peeled.

LAST FEW DAYS

Sorry for the lack of posts! I went to Cologne to surprise the Manfriend for his birthday and we were lazy bums all day everyday. We then came back to England to spend few more days together and we went to none other than the Harry Potter studios! We went all out crazy and tried butter beer, bought wands and got out photo taken in the flying car. I wore this outfit here on the day before my final exam - perhaps the most comfortable library outfit! The fact that I had not tucked in my T-shirt meant that I did not have to be fussing around with it and wondering whether I was bulging too much. I definitely think I am going to invest in more midi skirts.

SWAPPIES

I am not really a festival going person so I never really got into the whole "festival fashion" but looking back at these photos I feel like I have somewhat channeled that exact vibe unintentionally! I am a big fan of the blazer as it can instantly make any outfit more sophisticated but sometimes it is nice to throw on a big, cosy, slouchy cardigan. As so much of this outfit is tightly fitted I also felt a little too exposed with a blazer so this Topshop cardi was the perfect solution. I sneakily had to borrow Kristiana's sunnies as I forgot mine and I was having one of those no-makeup-but-I-can-hide-behind-a-huge-pair-of-sunglasses days haha.

WILDCAT

Yet another piece from my H&M rampage! I will without a doubt be taking this on holiday with me as it is so light but it does not have that typical look-at-me-I'm-on-holiday pattern. Do not get me wrong - I do love a good holiday/beach-y pattern - but I feel like this dress will be easily incorporated into my everyday wardrobe instead of hiding in summer-bernation, waiting for the year to go by so that it can be worn again.

PS, apologies for the chipped nails and a slightly short post - my last exam is tomorrow!

SIDE CUT-OUTS

The last dress I received from AX Paris was this paisley print side cut out and I just loved it so much that I had to pick another side cut out one! I thought I should play it safe and go for grey as it can easily be worn with anything - here I went for my cut out boots from River Island and my eagle necklace from Topshop. Recently, I have really grown to like grey and I am even considering purchasing a grey midi dress which will be a huge step for the body conscious part of me. If it is still a little too much for me I could still wear a baggy jumper or a loose crop top over it, right? Let me know how you have styled your midi dresses/skirts - I would love to check out a few blog posts on them!
