HAPPY HALLOWEEN

These are the cupcakes I made a while ago with my uni girls. We put so much effort into these and they were so yummy! We're probably going to have a Christmas cupcake making sesh soon haha. Are you guys doing anything special for Halloween?

STUD

I was in zara and when I saw this I knew I just had to buy it.. I had my eye on it for ages but I'm pretty sure that there is a long one and a short one or is that just me? Well, I got the longer one because I want to wear it as a jacket and it's getting chilly so I'll definitely need to wear a cardigan underneath. Ahhhh, I'm just so obsessed with studs, it's unreal haha. There was this bag that I really wanted as well but I ended up not getting it because it was kinda pricey to get both things.. I maaay, go back tomorrow and check it out again because I can't stop thinking about the bag haha.

PLANET EARTH TURNS SLOWLY

Haha, yes, another outfit with gold! I bought this skirt over 2 years ago and I've only ever worn it once or twice but I'm glad I kept it because I think it goes well with this studded zara top. I've been getting such great feedback from you guys these past two posts that I'm really convinced that it's worth buying the 50mm.. The more photos I look through (both Kristy's and mine) I fall deeper in love with it and taking photos with the basic lens that first came with my camera just doesn't satisfy me anymore. I think I'm ready to take it to the next level haha.

It's my first full day back in Luxembourg and we couldn't leave the house because the gardeners were around but I'll be heading out soon with my grandma and mama to go shopping. Mostly so that my grandma can buy gifts to take back with her to Japan but I'm also in need of a desperate browse of zara and essie polishes!

GOLDEN I

This is the awesome gold dress I got from River Island about two weeks ago. How gorgeous is it! Some dresses, when they are this detailed, get a bit itchy but this one is amazing. I really want to wear a gold choker with it but I thought it might be a bit too much. An emerald green gem stone choker might go well with it though. What do you guys think? I would love to know how you might style this.

Tomorrow is going to be a very exciting day for me. I am heading back to Luxembourg to see my family! My obaachan is visiting from Japan so I could not miss out on seeing her. It has been a while since she has been here, so I wonder if my little dog is going to remember her? I am almost 100% sure that he will because dogs just do not seem to forget.

LOVIN' THE FIFTY

I met with Kristy after my lectures today and we experimented with her friend's 50mm lens. We both fell in love with it immediately! It has climbed to the very top of my list of the things to save up for. We took a few outfit photos but more on that later.

This past weekend was one of the best I've had so far. Two of my good friends came to visit and we had a girls night out with homemade sushi and predrinks at mine, followed by greek night at my SU. One of them had to leave sunday afternoon but we had in enough time for crêpes - miaam. Sunday night was also super chill, N and I had a total fatty night. Sometimes there is nothing better than a cosy snuggle-night in with a good friend and devilishly yummy food.

LA LA LAND

I knew I would be spending some time in the library today after my lectures so I opted for a cosy and comfortable outfit. Is it just me or did it get REALLY cold in the last week? It's almost as if our autumn lasted only 10 days or so!

Stay warm
xoxo

SWEETS

These are the delicious cupcakes I had with Elizabete from when I was still back in Luxembourg! They were so incredibly yummy. My working is seriously start to pile up you guys... I hate it when that happens because I hate losing control and being so stressed with time. My brother and dad came to visit this weekend for the open day at my uni and to see me so I spent my entire weekend with them. This means I'll have to be going to the library to make sure I catch up on my notes and reading. I definitely work way better in the library than at home, even if it is just reading!

....and her amazing shoes!

SEND ME ON MY WAY

I met up with Kristiana today and we were going to take a few campus style photos but oh surprise, it was a little too rainy to be wondering around with our cameras out so we just took a few outfit photos and went to Starbucks to chill instead. It's awesome to have people from Luxembourg around uni! I don't start class until 3pm tomorrow but I still need to do quite a bit of reading so I shall be waking up bright and early, super keen and get straight into it (at least that's what I hope to do..)

LOVE AT FIRST SPIKE

Ohhhh do I have something good for you! When I tweeted about my galaxy blazer last week, I got a tweet back from @nailed_ituk and about galaxy nails to match. I literally sprung onto the website and within minutes I already placed an order. The online nail store is run by a 20 yr old named Lucy who just launched her site Sept '12. Last month! All designs are hand-painted by her and top coated with Seche Vite.

I chose to get the Love At First Spike design (£12) because it caught my eye and I'm just so in love with Bordeaux colours right now. Together with the gold detail I think this set is perfect for autumn. I am impressed with the quality of the nails, and in particular the precision of the gold pattern. I'll have to wait until the after the 25th to wear them though because I left my adhesive nail stickers back in Luxembourg.

If you're looking something a little extra special to wear on your nails, instead of those flimsy high street ones, then NailedItUK is definitely worth checking out! (She does ship outside of the UK!)

Happy Shopping

This colour is perhaps the most "true" when you take a look at them off camera, but colours may vary because they are all hand painted!

OH HELLO PRIMARK

When I was browsing in Primark on Saturday I was not expecting to find anything - I was actually going in to find some long tops and leggings to sleep in - so I was quite, but pleasantly, surprised when I found these two items. I really like the baroque trend this season but I'm not so confident to be able to pull off some of the full on baroqued out pieces, so I try to find things with subtle hints of it. There's not much going on on this top but I think the gold/black detail on the collar is really pretty and fits in well for the autumn. As for the blazer, I thought it was a bit of a unusual print, cool, out there print to try out. It really reminds me of a print Toni (Fashitects) might wear!

SUNDAY WALK

Hello there, sorry I missed out on a Sunday post. I really did have something to show you guys but after the photo walk I did with the Photo Society I did a bit of shopping and headed straight to my friend's place to have enchiladas and pie (which we made!) with her housemates. We then caught up with xfactor (which I don't follow so I was a little lost there) but then we watched Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. I had such a lovely night - I didn't get back till almost midnight! I was out the house for over 12h. I've also got some exciting news. The Fashion and Beauty Society at my uni has been ratified! So excited for this.

TARTAN & FUR

I had to go hand in my application for my provisional licence at the post office so I decided to make a day out of it and do a bit of shopping as well. There was a market going on so I decided to treat myself to some yummy mortadella and a few slices of prosciutto. I also found almond butter today which I can't wait to try out tomorrow morning! Even though the sun was out and definitely about all day, it was still a bit chilly so I decided to wrap up. I love these sunny/chilly autumn days. Perfect excuse to sit outside with a hazelnut hot chocolate - mmmh.

BEANIE & SCARF

I'm starting to get a bit of a bad cold so it's only right that I wrap up warm for the walk to my lecture today. I wanted a slouchy grey beanie for ages but I could never find the "right" one until I was in Japan this summer. I decided to pop into a hat shop and I found this one! What I like about it is that the tip of the beanie is sewed down to the edge of the hat so it doesn't looking like a floppy smurf hat. I of course had to wear my new favourite scarf (or snood) of the moment. The rest of my outfit is pretty bland so that's all for now! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend xoxo

GALAXY PRINT BLAZER

HEY GUYS! I'm super excited about this post so please excuse me if I find it a little difficult to contain myself. The people at Missbehaver emailed me a while back about sending me something and I had such a blast browsing the website. Now before I go on to the actual blazer, one thing I want to say is that I absolutely love that they use regular sized models because it's so much easier for me to tell how some things will look on me - I'm no size 6.

I had no trouble picking out this galaxy blazer - it immediately caught my eye! I've always wanted to try out something galaxy but because I gain most of my weight from my hips down so the leggings always made me look like I had tree trunk legs and a huge badonkadonk. I prefer attracting attention to my upper body with chunky accessories and blazers, so this one was perfect. I cannot wait to wear it on a night out with my spiked Litas.

Missbehaver has also given me a discount code to share with you guys so be sure to use blogger2299 at the checkout to get 10% off!
