CAMDEN TOWN

 Can you guess which ones....?

Hey guys! I was in London today so my friend and I decided to check out Camden before heading to a student fashion show I was invited to (more about that later). We were on the desperate hunt for a sushi bar until we came across itsu which was okay but I've definitely had better. What I did like though was the cranberry and earl grey ice tea they had - yummm. After that I made a sneaky purchase at American Apparel and Office, where I got new JCs. I have an outfit post coming up so you'll guys see them then but it's getting late so I'm going to chill, have a cup of tea and watch an episode of Friends. I've been in such a good mood lately (besides stressing here and there for coursework). You know those days when you walk up to a pedestrian crossing and the light turns green for you as soon as you get there? THOSE are the days when I feel like nothing could go wrong. I've been having a lot of those lately.

In the meantime, here's another video for you lovelies:

TOPSHOP CRAVING

TOPSHOP SPRING

I've been browsing topshop again and this is a very, very bad thing. The weather is getting warmer and I've been so boring with my outfits lately. I've also been very dormant with my blog since I've started uni - I'M SORRY. I really need to get myself one of those remote shutters. Anyway, I saw this dress and I realised I don't really have anything incredibly girly in my closet besides a flare out lace-y skirt I got from H&M a while ago (+ a few things you'll be seeing in an upcoming video!). I feel like such a slob sometimes and I really don't make any effort when I go out during the day because my longest day only consists of just over 3 hours but I really want to make more of an effort because then I feel like taking photos and the weather is actually getting nicer too! How has your wardrobe been adapting over the last few days/weeks?

THE DARK SIDE

Hey guys, I have something a little different for you. When I was back home in Luxembourg over my Christmas break I had the chance to work with perhaps two of the loveliest people: my long-term friend and amazing photographer Christine, and a make up artist who I had been wanting to work with for so long, Fanny Maurer! Both are very, very talented and although I've already posted about Christine that was over a year ago and many of you may not have seen that post.

Christine has had a camera in her hands for around 7 years now but her talent grows with each shoot she does. One of the things I find amazing about her is how much dedication she puts into each shoot she does, whether it's for her coursework, a client or a shoot just for fun. She's always fully committed before, during and after the shoot with regards to the planning, the shoot itself and also the editing. My favourite series of her work so far has to be when she shot Chelsea from MOT models (which I will link to you here). My absolute favourite photo has to be the last one where the models has her hair swooped to the side, her head tilted back and her cherry red lips slightly parted. Christine is currently in her final year of studies and I can't wait to see what she does for her final major project!

Now I'd like to talk to you about an MUA who's work I've been watching for a while now. Although recently a lot of her work has been focused around "the natural look," I think her best work lies with crazy dramatic make up such as this one or this. The looks which she has created for fashion shoots are also amazing. She takes such great care when creating a look and is not afraid to ask what we think and definitely won't let a face go without it looking just right. I would love to work with this talented lady again.

OOOPS

I went on a bit of a shopping spree yesterday, buying loads of spring/summer items like this top which was reduced from 12.99GBP to 6GBP. I also bought that necklace in a two for one deal so I thought eh it's a pretty decent necklace so why not. In total I spent 25.17GBP in New Look but with that I cam home with four tops and two necklaces so I think that is pretty good shopping in my eyes. I've been thinking of doing a collective haul of things I've bought recently like when I went to Paris. The sun is gone at the moment but I have free tomorrow morning so maybe I can catch it then!
