When I was in Germany I wandered into a a cosmetics store and I browsed the perfumes they had. A lot of them, like this one, were by famous people and not by any particular brand like Dior or Chanel. I decided to see if I could discover a scent that I like as the prices were very reasonable. I eventually came across this one by Heidi Klum which I had never heard of before - I didn't even know that she had her own perfumes! It was only 7 or 8 EUR (6.09/697 GBP) in-store so I thought "why not?" - I got the deodorant perfume instead just in case I didn't like it after a while but now I absolutely love it! I'm not sure if they sell it here in England and I did try looking for it online but I did find this German website.
Monochrome at Topshop
Quite a while ago I did an article for the Surrey Scholar covering
what Topshop had to offer with regards to the monochrome trend. I actually
wanted to share these outfit inspos with you:
White has never really been a flattering jeans
shade for me but I was quite excited to see this “bone” shade in Topshop’s
Leigh range. Do any of you guys own a pair of Leigh jeans? I have heard
fabulous things about them and I might just have to trot back into Topshop and
try on a pair. Another item which I was excited to spot was the cat
ear hat. I never thought I would want
to try something so quirky but it is just so cute!
The
outfit on the right hand side is definitely a lot more up my street. It is a
lot more casual and I actually own those heeled boots,
which my-oh-my are perhaps the best purchase I made last year. I wore them out
so much that I have had to get them resoled in a really short period of time.
They are a great pair to take for a weekend trip as they are comfortable enough
to walk around in all day and yet classy enough to wear in the evening.
The black backpack is
great for days out and going to university or school. It is a much better way
to carry things comfortably without looking like you have escaped from the 7th
grade. Swapping this bag for a clutch,
the boots for a pair of platform heels will
instantly take this outfit from day to night. Finish off the entire look with a
bright red lip like Topshop’s Sartorial.
SPIKE CLUTCH
I hope you guys have all been having a lovely week so far. My family came to visit last weekend and we went out and about in town. We of course checked out tk maxx and that is where I found this beautiful clutch for just 20 GBP (22.89 EUR). I have been wanting a clutch like this for so long but they were either too over the top or overpriced. I am so happy to finally have one! It's so badass.

KÖLN WITH MY LOVE
This is the only outfit post I have from my whole weekend in Köln because, to be honest with you, the Manfriend and I stayed in bed and koala-snuggled all day, almost everyday. We only made it as far as the supermarket and a bit of town but even that was only for one hour on the last day. Sometimes all you need is snuggles. These boots you see here are my new ones from Primark and GUESS WHAT. They were only 10 GBP (11.60 EUR)!!!!! I was excited when I found them. I love how they are quite simple and yet the studs give it that extra.... oomph?
PS, I have been getting lots of lovely comments lately, and I totally forgot to address my two year blog anniversary last month! You guys are the best - thank you.
Hat and scarf - Japan
