This is one of the dresses I picked up whilst on my H&M rampage back in Luxembourg. There is just something about H&M which I really, really prefer over Zara - more or less the only other "high-street" store we have there. I also got this tribal-looking necklace, of which the blue just adds enough colour to the top half of the outfit, while these orange Zara wedges complete the rest of the look. These shoes were one of those purchases which I was unsure about. I had no idea how or when I was going to wear them but I knew that one day they would complete an ever-boring and monochrome outfit. They are the perfect holiday shoe and I will certainly be taking this pair with me when I go to Italy!

COMFORT DAY

Yesterday I had a full day at the library so I opted for a comfy outfit. But comfy does not necessarily mean sloppy, so I threw on a blazer and this beautiful H&M necklace, and grabbed my millions of bags to take with me to the library. I had a sneaky 2h and popped over to Kristiana's place so we could take a few outfit photos together. With almost everyday spent in the library it is a little hard to find a spare moment to take photos but outfits also tend to be on the boring side, or something which you guys would have seen already. But by Wednesday next week, 17h30 I will officially be free for the Summer! And first on my list of things to do? Apartment hunting.

PS, that is somewhat of a lie since I have already psyched myself out about moving to Brussels and I have actually created a spreadsheet of different apartments listing cost, distance from where I will work/metro station/supermarket... You can never be too organised!

LEMON SQUEEZEY

This was an outfit I had in mind as soon as I tried on this top with these shorts in-store. The printed strappy/flouncy vest is not something I would usually go for but for some reason I immediately fell in love with it as it caught my eye. I never thought I would go for shorts like these either but hey, it is summer and I had just come back from a very successful placement interview! I also bought a flouncy white "work" top which you guys will definitely be seeing soon. Now for this neon clutch! I found it on the same day that I bought those Jeffrey Campbell trainers. Like the shoes - it randomly happened to be in my line of sight and for only 13 GBP I could not just let it go. I must say I have done quite a decent amount of shopping but I like to think that they are all relatively reasonable purchases!

HOME SWEET HOME

This morning my dad took me to a big Hi-Fi International store to have a browse and potentially pick up a new lens. I originally thought I would like to have a bag but then I decided that a new lens was so much more worth it! I ended up going for 85mm f/1.8 G and oh my do I already love it so much... My mum has actually spent more time with it than I have but I really cannot wait to use it more and more! Here I just wanted to show you a simple outfit which I have had at the back of my mind for so long. I must have bought this skirt months ago but it was never warm enough to wear - until now! As soon I got it I knew exactly what I kind of top I would wear it with. This long sleeved black crop top is perfect as it covers the top half of your body while the legs are out, so there is not too much skin on show. Judging by the weather forecast I think it is finally safe to say that summer has pretty much arrived and it looks like it is here to stay (for now at least...)
