I think I "need" to invest in some more midi length skirts. I got this skirt when I went on a spontaneous visit to Exeter to see a good friend of mine and I have not worn it much since. If you use your eagle eyes you can see that the skirt actually has a split down the side. The skirt itself is actually floor length but it did not flatter my figure in any way - it basically made me feel like like a circus tent - so I decided to take the two ends and simply tie them together! Oh what a genius I am...

STUDS & SPIKES

Wassup blogger friends? According to my driving instructor it was 24°C yesterday!!! Today is equally as hot and I had to come home and change from my Leigh jeans into a pair of comfy shorts. I am about to head into town to buy a couple of birthday things for a friend before I head straight back and work on an assignment. But first I just really wanted to show you this outfit! I found this crop top in Primark before the Easter break and I have not really had a chance to wear it yet. Thanks to the crosses on the front of the top I can easily tuck this into a black skirt or have it loosely hanging over a pair of high-waist shorts and still look relatively "put together" without donning an overwhelming amount of accessories.

SPRINGTIME SUNSHINE

I met up with Kristiana yesterday after my Japanese exam to shoot a couple of outfit photos. Would you believe that these were taken at around 6-7pm?! I love how long the days are now but the only downside is that it is so easy to lose track of time and HEY what do you know - it is suddenly 9pm at night. Just before I left for my exam, I was in a bit of a panic and put together this outfit in a rush. I have a back-up outfit plan of Leigh jeans & Topshop boots which can be pretty much worn with any top so it is what I pull out straight away if I just do not have the time to plough through my Narnia-like wardrobe of clothes.

AXCIRCUS @ CIRCUS LONDON

I am quite possibly the last person out of everyone that went to post these photos from the AX Paris event! I kept forgetting to because I was too excited about posting outfit pictures. Nevertheless here they are. Even though Kristiana and I arrived a little too late to grab the canapés that were going around we did manage to see the acrobatics that they had lined up. In between the performances we got to talk to a few other bloggers and finally talked to Leanne who is so incredibly lovely and chatty. We also checked out the clothes they had on display and I fell in love with the Crochet Neck dress. Be sure to check out AX Paris and treat yourself to an almost-end-of-exams dress!
