I had a job/placement interview in Brussels on Monday so I combined it with a short but sweet trip back home to Luxembourg. Tuesday was my one full day here and so the family and I decided to pop into town and have breakfast at Coffee Lounge. If all you sloths, like me, think it is not worth getting up early in Luxembourg to grab some food then crawl out from under those rocks - or duvets - and roll on over to CL to try their amazing scrambled eggs. After that we (by we I mean "I") did a bit of shopping before I made my own way to Auchan where I went on yet another shopping rampage - this time in H&M, but more on that later. I wanted to dress up a little more for today and I do not know whether it is because I am getting older or because I had that interview (or even a bit of both) but I like to think that today I woke up as somewhat of a different, newer version of me. The early twenties, about-to-face-life "me". I felt like dressing up and making an effort. And yet the wedges, the blazer and the bright red lip colour did not make me feel over-dressed which perhaps I would have felt two years ago. I felt quite grown up and I hope it is not just a phase, because I very much like the way I feel right now.
