After
a long day at the beach playing (and winning) Canasta with the Manfriend, we
came back to shoot a few outfit photos. I wore this outfit to the beach today
but minus the heels and the borrowed Hawaiian hula-girl print hat. The top may
seem slightly low cut but I was only wearing it to cover up over the white
bikini I was wearing. I had been meaning to buy a white bikini set but could
never find one that was exactly what I was looking for. I was browsing the last
few bits and bobs of the sale section in H&M as I do compulsively and found
this one: the string-y/triangle top is a lot thicker than the floppy material
usually used for swimwear so that it held everything in place without there
being any embarrassing slips. It also has a very vague leaf print on it which
makes it slightly more interesting than the standard all-white bikini.
I
threw on my newly bought neon pink top over everything to complete the look but
it has also come in handy for when I wanted to protect my shoulders whilst
walking along the sea or when we had lunch, and today at the beach Manfriend's zia got a matching pink bracelet from a beach vendor for me! Finally, here is the beautiful
suede bag which I found in Topshop for 15 GBP in the sale. I was not sure
whether I would get much wear out of it but the huge mark-down from around 30
GBP got to me and I am so glad that it did. It is now one of the bags I use the
most and I have used it everyday to go to the beach. Luckily, the Manfriend
takes the huge bag with all our towels, our sun screen and our pack of playing cards.
