CALAIS

Ten minutes before we were about to leave this morning for Calais, there was a buzz at our door and standing there was a man with a package from Motel Rocks. Talk about perfect timing! I picked this out not too long ago and, being the impatient person that I am, I was dreading the wait until I got back from Scotland to be able to wear this dress. There are so many amazing dresses but this one made my eyes go all google-y. I was a bit iffy about the cut-out shoulder trend when it was being done on a lot of denim shirts. I always like a little bit of a cut-out because it adds a little bit of sexiness without being too vulgar. It reminds me of they way the nape of the neck is shown off whilst wearing a kimono. Also, with the dress being such a bold colour and with it having quite a box-y shape, the cut-out makes the dress a lot more flattering. I am so in love with this dress I think I might have to sign into UNiDAYS and use that 25% student discount to get the black one!

PS, If you click "Read more" at the end of this post then check out some bonus photos of when I met the most hilarious woman at her fishing/duck game stand.
