First of all, I must apologize for "wet hair look". My hair was actually wet as I more or less had just jumped out of the shower. We had quite a late start to the day and I assume that will be the case tomorrow as well (it's currently midnight here). We did quite a lot today. We rode the subway, totally messed up, ended up three stops further than we had planned to so we had to do everything on our list but backwards. We went to see the site where the World Trade Centers were and we also popped into the memorial site preview exhibition. It was very emotional to see but what really tugged on our heartstrings was when an audio clip sounded throughout the room of the accounts of the victims' families. From there we walked down to Pier 17 (a place where I used to go whenever I was in NYC with my family), had lunch in Chinatown, found the Dr Martens store in soho and a store selling Jeffrey Campbells (guilty....). My friend Emily and I are now proud owners of Litas. THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE AND PRETTY AND GORGEOUS AND OHMYGOSH. It's like you're walking on heaven.
TIMES SQUARE - F21

Emily & me
Hey there peeps, we've just got back from a long day of walking around central park (and into the film crew for The Avengers), down Lexington Ave and all the way to Times Square. We first popped into Bloomingdale's where I finally admitted defeat and asked a MAC shop-assistant to match a foundation for me. I'm pretty sure that ever since I've been using make up I've been using the wrong colour. After a while in Bloomingdale's we walked further along Lexington Ave and into Victoria's Secret. It was my first time there and I must say the underwear and pajamas are quite cute. After a very nasty disinfectant-tasting mahoosive sandwich we rolled ourselves and our bellies to Grand Central Station and the New York Public Library, they're both so beautiful.
It was then off to Times Square for us where we hit the F21 store and yeees I know I mentioned a few times that I wanted to go at midnight but to be honest with you, we're already exhausted by 7pm so I don't think we'd have the strength or energy to! Tomorrow we're planning on exploring Soho, Little Italy, China Town and Pier 17 (a place I used to go whenever my family and I came to NYC). I love it here. You know that feeling where you just know you belong somewhere? I felt it with the university which I'll be going to and I feel it here too. Well, there's always the work placement year! You never know...
BEBE UGGS
Here's what I wore yesterday: Cheap Monday vest, lace vest and leggings. I was wearing sandals with this during the day but I decided to pop on my new mini uggs. I've wanted a pair like these for just over a year now. Uggs are so much cheaper here in the US! It's currently 9h30 here in NYC and we're planning our day. We'll explore the upper east side, check out carrie's house and just have a walk about. It feels good to be here!

THE HUSH MAGAZINE
Hey there sweeties! The magazine is finally online so please check out Christine's spread here and read my interview here. Moving on, I've had a great first day here in NYC. We headed to the urban outfitters around the corner from where we're staying, strolled along 5th avenue where we popped into Tiffany's and we then picked up some sushi to eat in central. Perfect day? I think yes.
For the moment we're chilling in the apartment but I'll try have some outfit photos for you by tonight. Or tomorrow morning. Depending on where you live hehe. We're not quite sure what we tomorrow's plan is but starbucks will probably fall into our paths at some point.
Edit: Just realised I hit 300 followers. THANK YOU ♥
